We had some rainy Spring weather today, but we decided to make the best of it and make some art outside anyway. We drew flowers together using colored chalk on black construction paper. The chalk is so vibrant against the dark backdrop. Chalk is great for young toddlers, because it marks easily but washes off. We had a light drizzly rain, but the damp paper made the chalk even brighter.
He continued to draw some more even after we came in. He kept calling the paper his chalkboard :)
Great project for a rainy Spring day!
