Bubble Wrap Painting

To add a little texture to our painting today, we used bubble wrap instead of paper.

It made some neat patterns as the paint skimmed along the tops of the circles or pooled down in the crevices between. Red enjoyed the feel of it on his hands.

And he enjoyed trying to pop the bubbles :)

And he liked the feel of it on his feet!

  1. I just came across this bubble wrap painting post. We used to to do this, too, except after they painted on the bubble wrap, we'd then put a sheet of paper over it and rub to create a print. (Or put the paper on the table and then turn the bubble wrap over on it and rub. Either way.) Always made me think of a Seurat painting.
